Registering for the site is 100% free and grants you limited access to printable activities, preview videosand our blog.

 

When you sign up for one of our Streaming Subscription Plans here, you receive full access to our content library, including our full-length Adventure Videos that kids love! You can access our site and stream videos from any internet-connected computer, smartboard, or mobile device. No need to worry about losing or scratching your DVDs!

 

Each full-length Adventure Video provides 30 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity, while taking kids on a fun adventure to a fascinating part of the world or time in history. Each episode also has Teacher and Parent Guides with suggested activities to reinforce the general and Common Core-aligned lessons in the episode! Subject matters include history, geography, ELA, math, science, and of course, health!

Using Adventure to Fitness in Classrooms & Living Rooms:

 

Interested in using Adventure to Fitness with your kids, but not sure where to start? We’ve created this helpful diagram below with suggested uses of our program components, as well as “Sample Days” and “Sample Weeks” of using Adventure to Fitness in Schools or at Home.

 

 

 

 

Sample Day: Using Adventure to Fitness to kick-off the day in a typical elementary classroom:

  • 7:45am: 30 minute Adventure Video to start the day strong
  • 10:00am: 10 minute Mini Episode re-energize mid-morning
  • 12:30pm: 5 minute Mindful Yoga Adventure Break to focus kids after lunch
  • 2:15pm: 5 minute HIIT Adventure Break to get the mid-afternoon wiggles out
  • 3:30pm: 10 minute Mini Episode while waiting for busses / parent pick-up

 

Sample Day: Using Adventure to Fitness as an indoor recess alternative:

  • 7:45am: 5 minute HIIT Adventure Break to start the day
  • 9:45am: 5 minute Active Yoga Adventure Break to rejuvenate mid-morning
  • 12:00pm: 30 minute Adventure Video for a fun after-lunch recess
  • 12:30pm: 5 minute Mindful Yoga Adventure Break to focus kids after the Adventure Video
  • 2:15pm: 5 minute HIIT Adventure Break to get the mid-afternoon wiggles out
  • 3:30pm: 10 minute Mini Episode while waiting for busses / parent pick-up

 

(That’s a total of 60 minutes of physical activity in each Sample Day!)

 

Sample Week: Using Adventure to Fitness at school:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 1 Adventure Video indoor recess + 3-4 classroom Adventure Breaks & Mini Episodes
  • Tuesday, Friday: Formal PE class + 2-3 classroom Adventure Breaks & Mini Episodes
  • Daily: Before and/or after school program using Adventure Videos in common area

 

Sample Week: Using Adventure to Fitness at home:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 5 minute HIIT Adventure Break before school + 30 Adventure Video after school in lieu of cartoons + 5 minute Mindful Yoga Adventure Break before bed
  • Tuesday: 5 minute HIIT Adventure Break before school + Soccer practice after school + 5 minute Mindful Yoga Adventure Break before bed
  • Thursday: 5 minute HIIT Adventure Break before school + Outdoor playdate after school + 5 minute Mindful Yoga Adventure Break before bed
  • Saturday: Soccer game in morning + 5 minute Mindful Yoga Adventure Break before bed
  • Sunday: 30 Adventure Video in lieu of morning cartoons + 5 minute Mindful Yoga Adventure Break before bed
